Britannia staff have years of experience in working with agents from many different countries worldwide.
Whatever school or college your students are attending, we can provide accommodation that precisely meets their needs and which is within easy travelling distance of their place of study. Just let us know their requirements and we will do the rest!

Britannia Student Services meets the standards for registration with the British Council as a provider of homestay, private home, residential, hostel and independent self-catering accommodation for adults (over 16 years) for accredited providers.

Quick response
At Britannia, we understand how important it is to provide your clients with quick answers to their accommodation requests.
We endeavour to answer you within 24 hours (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excluded). If your request is urgent, please state this at the time of requesting accommodation.
Our computerised reservation system searches for the best possible match of accommodation to your request and we will send you an offer of accommodation, which includes a full description of the accommodation (and host/family if a homestay is required).

Your Partner/Representative in London
Britannia is pleased to act as representative/agent for your company in London, so if your clients need assistance after they arrive, we can act on your behalf. Just let us know how you would like to co-operate with us and we will be pleased to adapt our services to suit the needs of your company. Students are always welcome to visit our central London office. Take advantage of our multi-lingual capability – we speak Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese and Japanese. Interpreters can be arranged.

Contacting Us – Information Required
Please give us as much information about the student(s) as possible when making your request, such as:

  • Full name, age and sex
  • Nationality/first language spoken
  • Religion
  • Arrival and Departure dates
  • Details of person to be contacted in case of emergency
  • Type of accommodation required (if homestay: Standard, Budget, Superior or Executive category)
  • Meal Plan (Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, Self Catering)
  • Preferred area if any and location and name of school attending
  • If not a student, reason for visit (e.g. work experience)
  • Smoker or non-smoker
  • Allergies (such as pets etc.) or disabilities, relevant medical conditions etc.
  • Special diets
  • Special requests, information about interests or hobbies etc.
  • Is an airport transfer required?
  • Is travel and study insurance required? (ENDSLEIGH)

Quality Control & Assistance
We have an English UK (British Council) certified Accommodation/Welfare Officer on our staff and comply with the English UK Code of Practice when selecting hosts.
At Britannia a student’s welfare is our main concern. We operate a 24 hour emergency telephone service and are available at all times to deal with emergencies such as student relocations during weekends.

Group Bookings
Unlike other accommodation agencies, Britannia is also a TOUR OPERATOR.
This means that we have the experience and expertise to place groups (whether it be in homestays, halls of residence, hostels or hotels) and take care of the land arrangements such as airport transfers and sightseeing too!

Agent Terms & Conditions
All bookings must be pre-paid by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or JCB only). Please add £12 if paying from abroad by bank transfer, to cover UK bank charges and ask your bank to cover any local bank charges in your country. If paying by credit card, please add 2% to the total to cover credit card administration charges.
